Some very smart folks like John Scalzi and Karina Cooper have pointed out the cons need to take a proactive stance to say up front: Don't harass people, it won't be tolerated. They also need a policy to back up that statement so con attendees and staff alike can hold any would-be harasser accountable.

Big Bad Con 2012 was awesome. Or it least that is what s/he said...

Improv for Gamers, led by Karen Twevles and Mia Blankensop just had an awesome workshop on the 7/13. Because of this, they are even more exited than before about offering the workshop again at Big Bad Con!

What do these do? - These allow the GMs to give would-be players more information about their game. Is the game focused on investigation, combat, intrigue? Some of all three? If it's mature, is that because of graphic violence, because of sexuality, or something else?

Forged in the Dark Games (Blades in the Dark, Mutants in the Night, Scum and Villainy, etc) Harlem Unbound The Mountain Witch The Watch Autumn of the Ancients BFF Tachyon Squadron Call of Cthulhu Golden Sky Stories Or other games pre-approved by the event staff.

All the feedback forms have been tallied (all 429 of them) and I have some results. This is just raw data right now. How it ended up affecting Big Bad Con 2013 will be the subject of future posts!
